Frame projects about done. I feel so much better now that the kids are a part of our classroom space, too.

Community building with sixth graders. We work with amazing children and it’s such a joy to work with caring, creative colleagues. 7th and 8th graders arrive tomorrow!!
It's such a thrill to present a session on Global Competence to the new Fulbright teachers, and it is always awesome to present along side Kim Young.
I enjoyed this Orientation very much - I reconnected with old friends and made new one, I learned alot, was inspired beyond my imagination, and I got to celebrate my colleague and friend, Bryan, who is off on his Fulbright adventure in January. Honestly, this year was pure joy! Always grateful for my Fulbright experience and always thrilled to be a part of Orientation for teachers embarking on their own Fulbright journeys. I learn so much here and get re-energized and re-inspired to jump in to another year in the classroom.
One official day back at school and now I'm off to DC for 5 days for the Fulbright Teacher Orientation!
First official day back at work. Classrooms without kids are not normal. (But they are clean and smell fresh :) Looking forward to kids coming next week! Back in the classroom cleaning and organizing and getting ready for a new year. I'm very excited about bringing the Arctic to my classroom. Here's a preview of how photography will play a part in my curriculum this year. |
