With only 1.5 weeks of school remaining, one of the priorities has been for my 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to write notes and attach them to the rainbow loom friendship bracelets them made in April.
I have never met a a paint chip that I did not want to covet for a class project and this teacher has no qualms about collection 200 at the neighborhood Home Depot. In this case, these strips came with a whole punched on one end - perfect.
All my students wrote little autobiographical snippets and my 8th graders also did strips with facts/ topics they learned during our study of US History that I was able to use as an end-of-the-year assessment.
I'm so excited to take these with me to Colombia and I've loved having the kiddos participate in this way.
